Vestas receives order for 40 MW in India
Published: Mon, 2010-08-30 13:30The order has been placed by CLP, who is one of Vestas’ long-term global customers, with installations in both China and Australia. In India, CLP currently owns and operates close to 300 MW of wind power and has around 150 MW under construction in the states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Their total investment in India so far is 450 MW.

It shows Vestas’ commitment to deliver the highest standards in terms of its product, technology and a safe project completion to our customers,” says Vestas Asia Pacific’s President, Sean Sutton.
Vestas has been active in India for more than 10 years, and as per 30 June 2010, Vestas had installed more than 2,300 MW of wind power in India.
